From the Pastors Desk
What a privilege it is to serve the Lord in this way. Knowing that we are easily broken jars of clay (11 Cor. 4:7), it’s hard to fathom that He would knowingly choose to use us for His kingdom work. I’m sure glad he does! Not only that, I’m thrilled that He has seen fit to place Carla and I here in Black Diamond. We know that god has great things in store here and we look forward to being a part of it. In the years that lie ahead, we look forward with anticipation to getting to know each one of you better as we work and minister together. As we pray for and love one another, I trust that God will both encourage and challenge our hearts. Bearing that in mind, I think it’s important that we keep 1 Cor. 15:58 in mind. It says, “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” May that be the character of our hearts as we move ahead boldly or His purposes!
