Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is salvation ?
A. To understand salvation, we must first understand our greatest need. The Bible declares that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Therefore we stand as enemies of God and there is nothing that we can do to restore our broken relationship with God on our own (Isaiah 64:6). What we needed was for God to make a way for His justice to be satisfied for the crime of sin and for our relationship to be restored. He did this by sending Jesus Christ (God in human flesh) to take our sins upon Himself and pay our penalty on our behalf (II Corinthians 5:21, John 3:16). He died for the sins of the whole world (I John 2:2). All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).
